Privacy
No accounts, no tracking, no advertising. This page says exactly what is stored and for how long.
What this site stores
Boomkin shows statistics computed from World of Warcraft character data obtained through Blizzard's official Developer API. That data is already public: it comes from the rated leaderboards and the character profiles Blizzard publishes in the armory.
For each character that appears on a leaderboard we may store the character name and realm, the specialisation, item level and secondary statistics, the equipped items, enchants and gems, the talent loadout, the rating or Mythic+ score, and raid progress. Character portraits are stored as links to Blizzard's own image servers.
Nothing here is private information. We never receive or store Battle.net account details, email addresses, real names or passwords — the API does not expose them and this site never asks for them.
What we do not collect from you
There are no accounts and no login. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, trackers or advertising. Typefaces are served from this server, not from a font provider.
The only external resource your browser requests is Blizzard's image server (render.worldofwarcraft.com) for in-game icons and character portraits.
Age
This site is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for them. It shows competitive statistics for an ESRB Teen-rated game and carries no content aimed at younger audiences.
Because the site has no accounts, no sign-up and no forms, it collects nothing from any visitor regardless of age — there is no personal information here for a child to give us.
Server logs
Like any web server, ours records each request: the IP address, the time, the page requested, the response status and the browser's user-agent string. These logs exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse — nothing else. They are not combined with the game data, not used to build profiles, and not shared.
Logs rotate automatically and old ones are discarded; only the most recent files are kept.
How long anything is kept
Thirty days, at most. Blizzard's Developer API Terms of Use require a maximum 30-day time-to-live for all data obtained through the APIs, and this site enforces that automatically: crawl records older than 30 days are deleted, and any character not seen on a leaderboard for 30 days is removed along with everything attached to it.
Aggregated statistics — how often a talent is picked, the median score of a specialisation — are anonymous figures derived from that data and carry no character identity.
If you do not want your character listed
A character appears here only while it is on a Blizzard rated leaderboard. Once it drops off, or if the character is renamed, transferred or deleted, it stops being collected and disappears from this site within 30 days on its own.
If you would like your character removed sooner, write to brkcucak@gmail.com with the character and realm name.
If you are in the EU
The site is operated by a private individual and runs on servers in Germany (Hetzner Online, Nuremberg). Data is not transferred outside the EU. Questions about it go to brkcucak@gmail.com.
Character data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): publishing aggregate statistics about a game's competitive ladders, from information the game's publisher already makes public. No profiling, no automated decisions, no advertising.
You can ask what is held about a character, ask for it to be deleted, or object to its inclusion — write to the address above and it will be removed. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority in your country.
Independence

How the numbers are produced, and where they are weak, is written up separately in how this site works.
